Tin Can Timepieces was founded with a simple idea: build watches with purpose, personality, and a story worth wearing.
I'm Scotty, owner and CEO of Tin Can Timepieces. I'm an active-duty U.S. Navy submariner, a lifelong gearhead, and someone who has always been drawn to mechanical things that are built to work hard. Watches became the perfect intersection of those worlds.
From an Idea to the Workbench
The watch starts here.
We don't simply pick a watch from a catalog and put our name on it. Our watches are developed piece by piece—from the case and dial layout to the hands, bezel, movement, straps, engraving, and the small details that make each model feel like a Tin Can Timepiece.
One of the best parts of this business is being excited to build a new prototype, then getting it on the bench, learning from it, changing what needs to be changed, and building it better. That process is where the character of the watch comes from.

Tin Can Timepieces is an independent American watch company. We stay close to the design, development, assembly process, customer service, and the people who wear our watches. That means we can move quickly, try ideas that bigger brands might not, and build watches with more personality than a committee ever could.
We're still building. New prototypes, new collaborations, and new ideas are always on the bench.
